Having been a part of the Wayside community since birth and baptism,
​I can confidently say it has played an integral role in shaping both my academic and athletic success. The school's dedication to nurturing faith alongside education has provided me with invaluable tools for navigating the world. Despite exploring other options post-college, I always found myself returning to Wayside, a testament to its enduring impact. Now, as a parent, I'm thrilled to see my children benefiting from the same strong Christian values and academic excellence. The daycare, with its safe and fun Christian environment, is an added blessing. Proud to be a part of the Wayside family!

Now, as a parent, I'm thrilled to see my children benefiting from the same strong Christian values and academic excellence

Our family was looking for an elementary school experience that reminded both my husband and I of our own. The commute to Zion from our home is about 25 minutes, so it had to be worth the drive. We have three children that now attend Zion, a 2nd grader, a kindergartener, and our youngest in 4K. After just celebrating 100 days of school at Zion, I am keen to share our experience at Zion. We felt welcomed from the absolute beginning, whether it was from a friendly smile, an unexpected hello from a student or
staff member, or the entrance door always being held open to greet you into the school - your children's home away from home. As a parent, there is absolutely no better feeling than dropping off your young impressionable children to a positive and loving environment. Not only are we overjoyed with the comfort Zion provides our children, but scholastically our children are thriving leaps and bounds over previous years. I am happy to say, I would drive any number of miles to continue our great experience at
Zion Wayside.

Breath of fresh air. Homecoming. A hidden gem in a field of weeds. Just a few thoughts that come to mind when we think of what Zion Wayside means to our family. It’s more than a feeling of contentment and difficult to find the words to adequately express our love for Zion Wayside. Our children, our most precious gifts, spend a majority of their awake hours within the educational system. The trust and confidence we have in each
of the educators at Zion is rock solid. We never worry about what our kids are being taught or experiencing because transparency and adherence to God’s word in every subject is displayed. Our children are being molded as disciples of Christ. What greater gift could we ask for? The climate of community is one we’ve never experienced elsewhere. You could say there is magic in the air here but we know that that “magic” is the Holy Spirit at work each and everyday. Our family is growing in Christ together and
it’s because we are blessed with this school and it’s deep Lutheran convictions.

Zion Wayside has been an absolute blessing to our family. Right from the beginning we were welcomed in by the faculty and the families, and the culture was equally impressive. It was a tremendous relief to enter a school with a high standard of education and morale. As time passed, the quality of Zion Wayside that was initially experienced became more and more evident. Now that our family has fully soaked into the school, we have so much gratitude for the gifts that Zion Wayside continues to bring the table. Our children are thriving, learning, and being guided by the most remarkable and caring teachers and administrators. We could not ask for more.
