Pastor Kyle WangelinSenior PastorOriginally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, I moved to Wisconsin in 2019, and have loved the community that is present here in Wayside. It is a blessing to be part of such a genuinely caring and compassionate community, full of people who love Jesus! It was here that I met my wife, Emma Wangelin, and we got married right here at Zion in October of 2023!
Being from Michigan, I am an avid Detroit sports fan, and yes, that includes the Lions! And I love to spend my free time out on the golf course, or on the water somewhere. Our Mission Statement at Zion is "Equipping Generations for Life in Christ." It is such an incredible opportunity for me to serve as a leader as we together fulfill this mission as we teach and equip generation after generation with God's Word, and a joy to see Jesus' Kingdom continue to grow! Pastor Jedidiah McClellanAssociate Pastor
I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church where I also attended elementary school. I then went to N.E.W. Lutheran for high school.
Following high school I spent one year at Grand Canyon University before transferring to Concordia University Wisconsin where I studied history and theological languages. I graduated in May of 2020. While at Concordia I also met my wife, Jane. We were married in the chapel at CUW in 2021. Jane now works as a registered nurse at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. After graduating from CUW, Jane and I moved to St. Louis, MO where I attended Concordia Seminary. I completed my M.Div there in May of 2024 and I was placed as associate pastor here at Zion! Ephesians 2:8-10 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Blessings to you in Christ! Pastor Jed McClellan |
